This resort is in a beautiful cliff side location with rocky beach access and a beautiful pool and restaurant overlooking the sea and pool. Villa rooms are sea front. The property shows its age. Our villa was well equipped and nicely decorated with a vintage look. Renovation should be in its future, everything was in working order during our stay. We would stay again. The included breakfast is prepared to order

Nice views and nice pools.
Location was nice and quite with good view across the bay. Hotel is a little old but clean. Be careful when walking around when raining. Tiles are very slippery. No beach but nice pools and wharf was good for a walk.

Nice location but far away from anything
The hotel is a 2 hour ride from the airport and once you're there, there is not much else to do. The room was big but the bathroom very old and in need of upgrading. There was many many stairs and the tiles and floor got very slippery when wet. The staff were friendly.

Good relaxing hotel
Good hotel for relaxation. Pool was very good, hotel could do with some TLC. Staff were very good, helpful attentive and very friendly. Food was very good, two restaurants just down the road had great seafood and well worth going to. Trip to see pink Dolphins was great, very good sightings. Views from room and hotel great. Some people may find hotel a bit isolated but for a relaxing stay it was excellent.

A Resort That Grows on you!!
We stayed for 5 nites at Racha Kiri. We were disappointed when we first arrived at the hotel as it was so far away from anywhere. When we were shown our room, I was disappointed as there was no balcony to walk out to to view the sea which our room faces. However the another room that we took has this big window that faces the sea and it was a compromise. The fittings in the room needs refurbishment eventhough the bathroom has been slightly upgraded.
However the breakfast was a great disappointment as limited variety of food, and cold with lots of ants crawling around. Staff has to be told to replenish the food.
However the scenery surrounding the pool area was great. But Racha Kiri has no beach so if you are looking for a place with beach then Racha Kiri is not for you. There is a road beside Racha Kiri that gives you a good workout up and down the hills that leads you to the end of the trail that has a spectacular beach called Thong Yee Beach.
All in all we did have a good holiday in Racha Kiri as the place is quiet and peaceful and not that many tourist. And the nearby 2 seafood restaurants was great. Khanom Seafood Restaurant and Ton Yee Seafood Restaurant but we prefer Ton Yee as it is less commercialised, affordable and home cooking at its best!!

Great staff! Good hotel
Excellent staff! Very friendly and went beyond their duty to provide great customer service. For example the receptionist took us to the local food restaurant, provided free transport and supported us with other services.
The hotel is on the coast - nice view. The taxi was costly from the airport and also to Domsak pier.
Overall had a good experience with this hotel and would definitely come back.

A good place to Relax
The Hotel arranged for transfers from the Don Sak wharf which we traveled to from Koh Samui. The costs for the is 1000 Bhatt. The ferry trip cost 600 Bhatt - for two adults and two children so pretty cheap leaving from Nathon Pier.
The View and the pool is fantastic, we arrived on a Thursday and I think we must have been the only people in the whole resort. We had the pool and the bar pretty much to ourselves. The room is a bit dated and the amenities in the room are also definitely a bit tired however overall it was clean, and tidy so I won't begrudge the room for being a bit old. The staff were attentive possibly to attentive I think as we were pretty much the only clients they kinda were everywhere. The beer in the minibar was ridiculously cheap at 45 bhatt, and the coke etc also cheap so the kids raiding this did not really affect the bill.
This Hotel is fantastic for a few days break from the madness of Koh Samui - A nice place which is easy to get to from Koh Samui - 1.5 hours by ferry which leaves every hour - You could even take your car or scooter over on the ferry and ride/drive to the Hotel.
The biggest problem with this hotel is that - there is really nothing much do do once you get there - so only stay for 2 or 3 nights because unless you only want to read books by the pool there really is nothing to do. But you will enjoy your stay.

Beautiful peaceful place
We loved the hotel & the staff were so helpful. Very elegant place, lots of steps but gorgeous views as it is on the side of a hill. Free basic Thai language lessons at the hotel. It was a great place to go about an hour from Surat Thani then we went on to the Ferry (about 30 mins away) to get to Koh Samui for a week away there. A few nice cheap local restuarants nearby too.

Heaven in a hotel!
The true Thai experience we were looking for. Amazing hotel and staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful. If you are looking for relaxation away from the hustle and bustle this is superb. Ferry ride from koh samui to khanom with beautiful locals was a memory we will cherish forever.
