We chose the hotel for its Austrian Background, history and perfect location. Even though the lobby is quite nice, the overall experience leaves much to desire. The service in general is mediocre and conformist, the front-desk girls tend to have an attitude (one hang up to me when I called for a room service tea, and another did not want to take my baggage in storage on the last hours of the last day). The front-desk night shifts have no idea of what goes on in the hotel: from the general rules to where to locate a stop or shop in town.
THERE IS NO FREE WIFI, one has to pay 6 Euros per device per day. There's also no room service.
The hotel is good if you want to party, because PianoBar54 is just below, but for the same reason, the music and the people tend to be noisy at night. Walls are VERY thin, so I kept hearing my next room neighbors TV.
The Spa and the restaurant service was the opposite of that of the front-desk. They were kind, friendly and very helpful and the food was good for breakfast and dinner.
The Spa massages were great and affordable. Nevertheless, the SAUNA IS NOT FREE (costs 8 Euro PER HOUR) and its super small, there's also no relaxation area, and the pool side is horribly noisy and full of children 24/7.
The ski rental was OK, but they don't speak English.
In general I would not recommend to stay there and I would not stay there again. It's a good place to visit and eat in, but not to stay. Not even for the perfect location.
