We had a wonderful stay at Sanremo Hotel in Vlorë and would definitely stay here again.
The hotel has the best possible view. The rooms are clean, modern, spacious, comfortable, and appear to have been recently remodeled. AC and Wi-Fi worked perfectly.
Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choices. The coffee was excellent!, whatever coffee you prefer — latte, cappuccino, Americano, or something else.
We initially didn’t realize that the hotel restaurant also serves lunch and dinner, so we ate in the city at first. After trying the food at the hotel, however, we decided to stay and eat there.
A special compliment to the staff. I’m not sure if this is a family-owned business, but it certainly felt like one. The same few people seemed to take care of everything, and they were so kind, welcoming, and attentive. I truly felt like I was being welcomed as part of the family.
The hotel is also very close to the beach, the kind that we like, because we prefer a pebble beach with clear, deep water.
There is a shortcut with stairs that makes it easy to reach the beach. Coming back up is a little more challenging, but we enjoyed walking, and when we were too tired for the stairs, we simply drove. Parking was easy to find.
And finally, a very important point for us: Sanremo is pet-friendly. Our old dog stayed free of charge and was genuinely welcomed at the property.
Overall, we are very happy we chose this hotel and would gladly come back.
