Holiday Inn Express Shenzhen Futian Center by IHG
"The breakfast is excellent."
Futian Shangri-La Shenzhen
"We had a lovely stay at Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen. The staff were very helpful even before our arrival and kindly arranged a complimentary late check-out. and two rooms close to each other. We were there for a family birthday celebration, and the hotel surprised us with birthday decorations in both rooms and a small birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful touch. Special thanks to Paul Wang and Joey Sun for making our stay feel extra special. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was convenient. The only issue was that some of the pillows had a noticeable cigarette smell, which was quite unpleasant. I hope the hotel can pay more attention to this, especially for non-smoking rooms. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the warm service. We would stay here again."
Shangri-La Shenzhen
"Lounge staff are the reason we keep going back .. absolutely amazing service, so friendly, kind, attentive and prkfesssional"
Hilton Shenzhen Futian
"Great service, well maintained . Great location"
Shenzhen Huaqiang Plaza Hotel
"Great Hotel in a Very Good Location I had a very good stay at this hotel in Shenzhen. Overall, everything was excellent. The staff were great, the food was very good, and the breakfast was especially enjoyable. The hotel is also very well situated in Shenzhen, which makes it a convenient choice for staying in the city. The only area that could use some improvement is the business center. It feels a little rundown and could definitely use some attention and a bit of investment to bring it up to the same standard as the rest of the hotel. That said, this is only a minor point. Overall, it is a good hotel with great staff, good food, a very good breakfast, and an excellent location. I would definitely give it a good rating and would consider staying here again."
Crowne Plaza Shenzhen Futian by IHG
"Estupenda experiencia. El gym espectacular, pa piscina para nadar también. Excelente todo"
IntercityHotel Shenzhen Huaqiang North
"The staffs are very nice and helpful"
The St. Regis Shenzhen
"Really nice hotel with big room"
MGM Shenzhen
"This was my first stay at MGM Shenzhen. As a new hotel, its facilities are top-notch, and the beach wasn't too crowded. I had afternoon tea at the East Wing café — the beef sandwich, bagel, and smoked salmon croissant were all delicious, and the prices were reasonable. Special praise goes to Ms. Svea Sun at the front desk, who handled my check-in key process. She took the time to explain the membership benefits in detail and noted down the issues I encountered with my newly registered M Life membership. She was extremely patient and thorough. This will definitely be my first-choice hotel on my next visit to Shenzhen."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Shenzhen
- Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly months to visit Shenzhen are February, July, and December, when hotel prices are generally lower. For those looking to fully appreciate the city's historical and cultural landmarks, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. During this time, visitors can explore significant sites such as museums, art galleries, and cultural attractions, all of which offer great value for money. With careful planning, travellers can enjoy a rich experience without breaking the bank, particularly as prices may drop during these months.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com offers travellers the chance to save on their trip to Shenzhen. By visiting the DealsOpens in a new window section, you may discover discounted hotel rates, while the Last-Minute Deals section could be useful for finding offers close to your travel dates. Additionally, by enabling alerts, you're more likely to see flash sales and price drops. The Smart Shopping tool is available via the app to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you can make a well-informed decision when booking your last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could potentially help you find a more favourable rate for your stay in a Shenzhen hotel. If you're in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that might help you discover a more advantageous option.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre generally tend to be more expensive; however, with Shenzhen's outstanding public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further afield that remains well-connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations can provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
