Was expecting a cozy B&B. This is an apartment converted into rooms for rent. The owner did not send instructions on how to enter, no one was around to meet us, finally got a lady down stairs to help us. She somehow knew the code to the lock box to get into the room. We could not lock the door to our room, the bathroom was accross the hall, not part of the room and we never did figure out how to unlock it. Also, the pictures made it look like a quiet safe neighborhood. It is right by a busy road with a gas station. We left and found a different hotel. The room was clean and mostly matched the picture.

The property was quite difficult to locate, as even locals were unfamiliar with the address. Upon arrival, however, the owner was present and made an effort to assist us, which we appreciated. The unit itself was very clean, and the room was spacious with ample storage for personal belongings. That said, several amenities were not functioning properly. The shower drainage was clogged, the showerhead was partially broken, and the heating system did not work effectively. Additionally, while the listing advertised the unit as soundproof, we were able to clearly hear conversations from the neighboring room, as well as a dog barking nearby. The bathroom is shared, which was not our preference and could have been more clearly stated in the listing. Lastly, we were asked to pay a government tax that was not disclosed in the advertisement. Overall, while the space has some positive aspects, there are several areas that require improvement for a more comfortable stay.

The place was very clean when we arrived. The host didn’t meet us and we walked around looking for the place for about an hour and tried to get hold of him but without good phone service it was difficult. He was a little frustrated and rude. We did make a last minute booking so wasn’t time for him to give us directions. It is very close to metro stop and restaurants and we liked the area! Started to go downhill when we discovered we didn’t have our own bathroom ( didn’t read well enough) and people in room next to us were very odd. They seemed like they were troubled people , maybe on drugs, or something and had a dog. Their door was open and I went in hall to ask them a question and the woman was so afraid of me, the dog started to bark at me, the noyfriwnd got mad and they coughed , hacked and yelled at each other all night long. We were afraid of them and afraid to go to bathroom during the night. It was awful. We were going to leave the next day except they were checking out. I know host can’t control these things. What he can control though is that nothing was cleaned that day . They were not clean people and no one cleaned the shared bathroom, nor their dirty room- we called about the shower filling up with water and host said he’d come fix and didn’t. Also power went out first night. Luckily , the strange guy called host and fixed it but had he not been there we wouldn’t know what to do. The walls are paper thin but if you rent all 3 rooms it’s great

The room was an apartment unit that was divided into multiple rooms. You were obligated to share a restroom with another patron. The complex is not in a nice area. The description of the unit on Expedia in deceiving. I would not recommend this location.

Leaving a review so future guests know what to expect. On the plus side, the host was very responsive, which was greatly appreciated. The parking was also clutch. It’s most of the reason why we booked this place. That said, we didn’t realize that it was a shared bathroom (which I may have missed in the description, and if so, that’s on me), and the location was okay. Twenty minutes walk from Vatican City but not on leisurely roads. It’s also a hike to everything else. If you do park your car there, just a heads up that the process of leaving the parking lot is a hassle since you need to keep the keys in the room to check out but still you need the key to unlock the gate to exit. If you’re not looking for anything glamorous and are okay with being further away from the action, it’s a decent stay. If you’re looking for convenience, it would be worth staying in another part of the city.

For those considering this place be aware this is not a private apartment. Slightly misleading and not clear at all when booking. You will be sharing a bathroom and living spaces. Thin walls so you can hear your inconsiderate roommates. We had less than 2 toilet papers for over 4 people. Very bad communication between us and the host. The listing needs to be more clear on the fact that it is a shared space. Also mold in the bathroom shower. The area is nice for the train but if walking good luck. It is 30 mins to saint peter and 20 mins uphill/downhill to Vatican museum. I can’t stress enough how mislead I was. Please update the listing. I feel like you used word judo to avoid saying it is a shard space. So for the price it is not worth it at all !
