Overall, the hotel was fine for the money we paid. The room was a bit odd: it was literally like a cave with one small window looking into an inner lightshaft. There is no view, even being so high on the hill. The little decks for smoking are right outside other rooms, and also don't really have a view. Be aware that, while it is close to the Basillica, in is all uphill. If you park in the carpark nearby, that is fine. From the train station and bus, I wouldn't recommend it with much luggage or if you aren't in good condition. The staff was lovely, and the breakfast better than average.
