Reservation IGNORED & attempted OVERCHARGING
Horrible experience.
Sadly Casa Mara still is offering accomodation over the web that is not availbale when you arrive.
(see older feedback of other - rejected - guests)
THough having a confirmed booking - Casa Mara had no room available.
Furthermore the lady at the reception was very rude and pretended she couldn´t speak english - though she spoke perfectly with others.
Spoke very loud with me - though I stayed polite all the time and kept me waiting for 1 1/2 hours.
Even worse:
When the owner arrived, she "offered" me to stay in different, "private" hostal of a far lower Standard - while I should still pay the high original Casa Mara price.
This is a totally inexceptable scandal.
Trying to cash in from customers - on OWN mistakes.
People with such a mindset don´t belong in the hospitality Business and deserve not to be supported.
