"It was more of a motel than hotel. The room was clean although the loo nearly came off the wall every time I sat on it and I’m not fat. During the shower I got scolded by sudden hot water all the time. The front door opened onto the street which I didn’t like and the door was rickety. The staff however were lovely and my daughter and I had a nice dinner at a great price. Breakfast was nice, they have a kettle and fresh milk so I could make a nice cup of tea and they let me fill my flask with hot water."

Walking distance to the train station and easy walking distance to the main old town area where there are plenty of good food and drink options. "Hotel was undergoing a revamp so amenities were less than I expect they usually are. Only get one pillow each, and although they provided extra bath towels and a hairdryer for us on request, they couldn’t provide any extra sleeping pillows, which I find bizarre in a hotel. Other than that, room was clean, bed was pretty comfy too, would use again."
