Excellent
Lots of history hidden among modern cafe's and shops. We loved the museum, the sight of the Roman Fort and walking opportunities. The bus routes are easy to access and run frequently. Central for visiting other villages, towns and attractions.

Such a lovely place that I haven't visited before. I'll definitely be back as I'd like to have a drink in the Wentworth Arms (didn't get chance last night!) and pop into some of the other lovely shops and pubs I saw.

Small village, just a few shops but enough if you needed any essentials
"Really nice stylish hotel with lovely staff and facilities. Because of a delay we arrived at the hotel after the cut off for breakfast but they went out of their way to get us a bite to eat, only a bacon bun but much appreciated. "
"The divided bathroom, the luxurious towels, the heated towel rack, the very large room, the substantial table and chairs in the room, and the friendly and helpful concierge Freddie and the footman
