Most people know Cozumel as a world-class, diving and snorkeling location, which it is. But there are also secluded beaches to satisfy almost anyone's interest. The one thing it does not have is a very vibrant party scene so don't expect that here.

Cozumel has a very scenic, waterfront, downtown area, with lots of shopping, restaurant and club activity. We felt perfectly safe there at all times. The island is lacking in open sandy beach areas on the leeward side. It has more cabs than NYC.

It's a small island so it's mostly for beach lovers and water sports. The people are friendly and kind. Cozumel downtown has some cool restaurants and coffee shops.

This is one of the most scenic places I've ever been from the lush rainforest to the crystal clear water. It also has some of the best snorkeling.

Best part of Yucatan coast, in my opinion. The island's north end is especially quiet, non commercial, with easy swimming and snorkeling.

Too many cruise ships allowed to come to the island. The average day had 4-5. (Even Sunday!) Poor island and marine life. Would be nice if the island pushed back on so many coming in, though one understands the $$ they bring to the island.

We took a 3 hour tour of the island with a cab driver who did a great job with history and stops along the way. Great to get over to the undeveloped East side. We stopped for one of the best drinks I've ever had (Mojito Bar).

This is one of many reviews that I'll be leaving for this place as I'll be writing them on different platforms as well.
This resort far exceeded my expectations as I read the other reviews prior to arrival, particularly the negative ones. Let me tell you, the negative ones are just completely irrelevant. I'm an American from Tx, I know what it's like to feel entitled, and that is all those negative reviews were.. They were entitled people who expected to feel like they were in the most luxurious place ever. As luxurious as this place truly is, it is no place for you to EXPECT luxury. If you don't want to eat meals in a beautiful tropical hut with nature (birds) around you, then do not come here. If you expect completely modern architecture with the newest model rooms and appliances, then do not come here. But if you expect the true island experience with beautiful older architecture, beautiful turquoise waters, along with the most beautiful people you can meet, then please consider this resort. The staff are some of the hardest workers I have ever met, not only do they work hard, but they do it with a smile on their face.. That is a luxury that I'm not used to back in TX. It truly is beautiful and almost makes me shed a tear thinking about them as we really do take so many things for granted in the US. They all speak excellent English but please have the respect to communicate with them in their language, even if you're not fluent. Thank you.

"Everything was great about this hotel. It is about 5 min cab drive from the ferry. Very clean, the stuff is amazing, fast and very polite, entertainment is good. We found that food is very tasty. Lots of healthy options! The buffer is inside ( I was happy about it). The coffee shop is good. The drinks are not bad as well. There is no beach, but it is a waterfront and you can swim using a ladder. The water was beautiful and we snorkeled every day. The AC in the room worked well. I used the gym for the first day. It is a nice facility. It was closed for the remaining of my trip( renovation?), but I was able to run outside early in the morning . Felt like a very safe island. Cozumel is beautiful and we have zero complaints about this resort. Thank you"
"Everything was amazing. Made friends with one of the staff in the gym named Gerry. He was very friendly as was all the staff. Food was amazing. Property and room was very clean."

"We absolutely loved our stay here! The food was, without a doubt, one of our fave parts, always fresh, flavorful, and delicious at every meal. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were spotless every single day. The snorkeling area was phenomenal and perfect for traveling with kids. A special thank you to Emir, the lifeguard, who was so kind and knowledgeable, making us feel safe and cared for. This place truly exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to go back!"
