The hotel was clean and nice. But I was a bit disappointed on the overall look and feeling. It did not feel like a 5 star hotel. The lightning in the restaurant was awful, felt like sitting in a school cafeteria. And the spa was fully booked and the didn’t have anything to offer when it was bad weather. The only thing you didn’t need to book in advance was the pool outside. But it wasn’t heated so you could be there when it was bad weather. So if you should book this hotel you need to be prepared and plan and book everything you want to do way ahead. The food was amazing however!!!

We truly loved the absolutely remote location of Diana Dea Lodge – it’s a peaceful hideaway surrounded by nature. That said, reaching the hotel is a bit of an adventure: the steep, winding road up requires some confidence, especially when navigating the occasional oncoming car in the dark. The lodge itself is beautifully designed, with warm wooden interiors that create a cozy and natural feel. The atmosphere varied quite a bit during our stay – it was very quiet on weekdays, while the weekend brought in more (seemingly younger) guests, likely there just for a short break. Breakfast was generous and tasty, though it’s pre-prepared rather than à la carte. A highlight was definitely the cappuccino – one of the best we’ve ever had! Dinner was tasty as well: while the portions were on the smaller side and the menu a bit limited (and not cheap), the quality and flavors were excellent. There’s no gym on-site, but the comfort of the room makes up for that. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bath with a view over the landscape was a real treat. All in all, a special place to disconnect and enjoy the quiet, natural beauty of Réunion.

Personnel aimable et souriant. Très beau cadre, dépaysant et naturel. Superbe petit-déjeuner. Piscines aux attendus. 2 axes d'amélioration : 1/notre chambre ne pouvait pas se verrouiller (réparation non faite avant notre arrivée), 2/nous n'avons pas été informés de la carte du bar lounge qui proposait des plats à prix raisonnables (à noter qu'il faut mettre des tables à hauteur dans le bar lounge afin que cela soit plus agréable pour manger). Nous aurions pu rester dîner à l'hôtel. C'est très dommage. Les prix affichés du restaurant principal sont à revoir. Je précise que nous avons fait les meilleurs tables de l'île et nous trouvons que les prix pratiqués sont très et trop élevés pour ce qui est proposé.

Observer les cerfs en liberté et profiter du silence est un luxe incomparable. Les piscines chauffées à débordement sont divines. • La Gastronomie : Le restaurant est un voyage culinaire. Le chef met merveilleusement bien en valeur les produits locaux. Chaque dîner était une expérience de haute qualité. • Le Service : Le personnel est d'une gentillesse, d'un professionnalisme et d'une discrétion remarquables. Nous nous sommes sentis accueillis et choyés. ⚠️ Point de Vigilance (Avis Constructif) : Le seul léger bémol de notre séjour concernait notre chambre. Tout etait im-pe-ccable! Un vrai service, du bagagiste a la chambre! On est au petit soin, un receptioniste plus que bien dans son rôle. Notre 3eme séjour ici, et se fut le meilleur de loin! Matelas selon notre gout( +ou- dur selon nos désirs) Mes enfants et nous validons. On y met le prix oui, mais c'est une bonne dépense.
