Lovely hotel! Google has some confusion about getting to the location. Its on the third story of a building that is tucked in behind a shop. Go up the stairs, there is a rickety old elevator that might fit a person and a bag. The entire place is old and very dirty. Up on the third floor is Atum. Very bright and clean and welcoming. The rooms is huge and bathroom had a two person tub but unfortunately there wasn't enough hot water to fill it. Breakfast is offered but we unfortunately had early mornings and didn't get to try it. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. I will say the road noise is VERY loud. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Otherwise it was in a great location for our tours in Cairo. Also many restaurants within easy walking.

C'est un hôtel avec un très bon rapport qualité-prix. Très situé non loin de la place Tahrir et proche de plusieurs commodités et lieux touristiques. Le personnel est très serviable et aimable en particulier Amr, Abdou, Aya, Fareh.

Fabulous staff, all very young and friendly also very helpful, keen to make you feel welcome. The rooms are gorgeous and clean. Quirky old building, up a few flights of stairs, it does have a lift which could use a bit of maintenance!. Definitely recommend.

Excelente hotel

We had an excellent stay at the Atum Hotel. It was my boyfriend and myself (two Americans in our 20s), and we felt very comfortable and safe here! The staff, the room, the food, and the location were all incredible! The staff was very helpful in arranging our pickup and offering to book tours for us. The room was nice with high ceilings, a nice shower, and lots of storage. The hotel is the 4th floor of the building, and the elevator is pretty sketchy, but other than that, everything was great! There are many restaurants right outside the restaurant, and it was fun to sit inside or outside at the hotel cafe a look at the city. The noise in the room wasn’t too bad, and we slept with earplugs and had absolutely no issues. Definitely recommend!
