Everything was great—the room was clean, and the staff were friendly and courteous. However, on the day I was scheduled to check in, I was stranded in Houston due to Tropical Storm Bertha. At approximately 5:04 PM, I called the hotel to let them know that I would be arriving the following day. The employee who answered the phone asked for my first and last name and even had me spell my last name to ensure she had the correct reservation. She assured me that she would inform her manager of the change. Unfortunately, that information was not passed along, and my reservation was marked as a no-show. Fortunately, two wonderful staff members were able to honor the remainder of my booking and assist me with checking in on Friday. I greatly appreciate their professionalism and willingness to help resolve the situation.
