Lovely aspect looking out over the harbour. Clean and tidy but the room was very hot. We slept with the door onto the terrace open all night and a fan going. Otherwise, a nice place to stay.

I loved this place. The room (and the rest of the building) was beautiful. Even though the room was very small, it worked out very well for us. There was an excellent fan, since it was quite warm. The bathroom was a good size, and the one issue we had with the toilet got fixed immediately. The staff was also helpful to keep a few things in the fridge. Only thing missing in the room would have been a mini fridge. I also loved the little village, beach, the pub and food, and walking around the cliffs in the area. Would definitely come back.

A lovely pub and hotel within a stones throw of the beach and Port Issac. The pub food is great and only 5 minutes walk to Nathan Outlaws Bistro.

8/10 Very good

Interesting historic pub hotel situated close to the sea. Small room but comfortable bed and clean, en suite with shower over bath, partial sea view, kettle and Nespresso machine. Steep and narrow stairs to room. Excellent breakfast and reasonable evening dining (Pie and Drink £15 Monday!) Good beer. Pub gets very busy so book. Noisy until around 23.00 when the bar closes. Quiet during the night. Sash window only ventilation so room was quite hot during our stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. Very limited parking (8 places). Port Gaverne is a tiny fishing cove dissected by the Delabole - Port Isaac road (not a lot of traffic) with almost no parking. The hotel is on the SW Coastal path and about 30 metres from the sea across the road. Good for swimming, fishing and walking. Steep hill leads to Port Isaac (10 minutes). It's an old property with bags of character but difficult access and noisy in the evening.

Stay here!!!! This pub and inn is amazing. Great friendly staff, awesome rooms and great location to trails and port Isaac. If you’re American like me and afraid of driving down to the inn, no worries there is a car park at the top of the hill that is easy to park in and walk down a steep hill to the inn. Parking is a fee but not expensive. Pub food was great! Overall super happy with my stay (:

Excellent hotel in a superb location - food was great - we had pretty much everything off the menu over our week long stay here. (Don't miss Pie and a Pint night on Mondays!) Staff were lovely and very helpful. Parking is a challenge and whilst we always found a space (just!) there is only 8 spaces for a 15 room hotel and we often found non residents (beach goers and dog walkers etc.) using the hotel car park so what space the hotel does control needs to be 'policed' better!

This was our favorite place to stay in the UK so far. The room was spacious and clean, and the included breakfast excellent. The pub offered drink and food specials that helped us stay in budget- and were of excellent quality. The location is easily walkable to Port Issac and local walking trails. We highly recommend the Port Gaverne!

Our room was spotless and even a box of goodies for our little dog. The staff were happy and helpful and having had two dinners and two breakfasts there, I food was hot (I'm fussy!) and delicious. Can't wait to return!
The view from the road to Port Isaac. Gaverne is quiet - just listen to the birdsong!

The hotel was immaculate and the staff were amazing. Would highly recommend this as a must to visit or stay when visiting Cornwall. The views were spectacular and the beach was clean and tidy. The restaurant was a real treat with amazing cuisine from the breakfast through to the fine dining experience in the evening. The accommodation was superb and definitely value for money.

What a beautiful setting right next to the beach, very dog friendly, all staff were welcoming and customer service was excellent. In the room there are dry robes for use during your stay. Very quirky pub/hotel. The food was excellent and they cater for gluten free. I recommend for a peaceful romantic getaway.

We had a brilliant overnight stay in this old pub in this tiny cove. The staff are really lovely and the food was excellent. Very comfortable bed and a nice clean fresh bathroom. Breakfast was large and tasty. There's a bit of plumbing noise but you can expect that in old buildings.

We had an enjoyable 5-night stay at the Port Gaverne Hotel. The service was excellent and the food was very good. We enjoyed the variety of offerings at breakfast and the Sunday Roast. This is not "pub food." This is an old hotel and be advised that the rooms are small and up steep stairs, although the staff helped with luggage. We were there during a heat wave and there is no air conditioning, which is typically not needed. The bed was comfortable and the bedding lovely. The location is beautiful and a short walk up the hill to Port Isaac.
