Shangri-La Beihai
"Site was great, had a lot of amenities, but the pool bar was not open. I thought there was three restaurants and I only found two. Lack of a store to buy food and drink items. But you could buy jewelry. They had a cooler they sold ice cream out of but it was 58 yen for a very small cup. Over all it was a great place to vacation, just seemed like it was either off season or it’s past its prime. Will stay there again when back in China."

During your visit, you can enjoy a variety of attractions such as the beautiful sea, sandy beaches, and opportunities for swimming, sailing, and snorkelling. Additionally, Beihai offers unique experiences with its volcanoes, coral reefs, and an aquarium featuring sharks, making it a great value for money destination for those interested in nature and culture.

Moreover, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app helps travellers compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re more likely to see competitive offers. Stay informed by enabling email alerts or push notifications, so you can quickly act if your preferred rooms become available or if prices drop.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay at a Beihai hotel. For those seeking distinctive experiences, boutique hotels might offer a more personalised service and, in some cases, better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could help you find a more appealing deal.
- Consider your location: Remaining closer to major attractions or city centres may provide convenience but usually tends to be more expensive. For more affordable rates, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, balancing price with ease of access to the places you plan to visit. You might explore independent hotels situated further afield, which can offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
