Quietly enjoyable.
Enjoyed a quiet stay which is what we wanted. Not far from town center and sea shore. Room clean and warm . Only bad thing was tea and coffee not refreshed daily . We stayed 3 nights and was never asked if we needed any items refreshing. You can hear other guests coming and going but wasnt too busy.

4/10 Fair

Arrived at the hotel, which my grandson described looking like an abandoned hospital. Room overlooked peoples back gardens which were like dumping grounds, their windows looked straight into our room so had to keep curtains shut as there are no blinds or even nets. The bed was described as a double but was actually 2 singles pushed together with a double duvet that didnt fit the bed. The pillows were literally as flat as pancakes, even doubling them over made very little difference. The mattress was just the worst, every spring could be felt, had an awful nights sleep. No side tables, so bedside lamp was over the other side of the room. Bathroom shower was full of limescale so the tile grout was green, the shower tray overfilled and when i took the plastic flow pipe out it was full of someone elses hair. My grandsons room was just as bad and there was urine all under the toilet seat, which i did complain about and it was cleaned straight away. The positive to this stay is that the staff were lovely, very helpful, and the hotel is cheap, and because it was a very last minute booking on the last weekend before the kids went back to school, and it was pay month for many, everywhere else was booked up. It didnt spoil our 2 night break as it was purely somewhere to sleep, though i felt i needed to be honest in my review.

2/10 Poor

The little said the better. When there is no T roll in the bathroom and the bedside lamp has no bulb what else can they get right? Yet all these could have been forgotten if the noise from the motor or boiler hadn't kept me awake all night. Terrible experience!

6/10 Good

handy for town centre and beach
The room was ok. the bathroom especially the shower could have been cleaner, the tv didn't pick up many channels and wasn't tuned in properly. The beds were comfortable. We found out that the staff had only been there three weeks so in time I expect that this hotel will improve and be good. I would recommend anyone to stay there as the price was good and very handy for the town centre and beach.
