Wasn’t told how to check in until we were waiting in the alleyway outside. Called the host twice. She said she didn’t answer no caller ID, which I had on for work, so asked me to text on WhatsApp instead. Got into our room, it was the wrong one. We booked a superior and had been given a regular one (no kitchenette). We told the host, she knew it was wrong but just failed to tell us we would be getting a normal one. She said Expedia had listed the rooms cheaper so we had only payed for a normal one. The price difference for 4 nights was £20-£30. We weren’t offered the chance to pay this extra to have the room we actually booked. The host said she would try upgrade us in the following nights but we heard nothing from her. The room had no towels. When we got them they were hand towels. Bins had no bin bags so rubbish just fell out. No cold drinking water due to heat in the pipes so the fridge we booked would have been appreciated. We had three separate people try to open our door. Two in the night which woke us up. This is because the rooms have no numbers so new guests didn’t know which was theirs. It’s scary waking up in the middle of the night to someone trying to get into your room. The rooms are listed as soundproof. They are not. It sounds like other guests are in the room with you. Booked it for my mums birthday and wish I had booked somewhere else. There was more but there is a character limit. Book elsewhere.

Do not book!
Missing check-in info: Nobody told us how to check-in until we texted the owner on the day of our check-in. No reception. Explanation on how to check in only via WhatsApp which seemed very unprofessional.
Wrong room: We booked a superior room with a kitchen but instead got a small room with two single beds, no kitchen, no fridge, no microwave. The owner let us check-in into the wrong room and said she didn't know we booked the superior room. Our room was not available because the shower was broken so we had no chance but stay in this small room. We needed to throw away the food and drinks we bought because we thought we would be getting a fridge!!!
Very bad communication: Communication was only possible via WhatsApp, no phone calls possible because the owner was driving or working. It felt like a scam. We told the owner what happened and that she gave us the wrong room. She said she can't give us a refund and that there are no other rooms available (even though they were still rooms available on hotels.com and other websites for the duration of our stay).
Not soundproof: The rooms are labeled as soundproof which they are not at all. You can hear the guests in the room next to you every time they move in bed and can hear every single word they say. It felt like having no privacy at all.
