Charlotte was central to places to visit. Loved the farmers market on Saturday in Punta Gorda: fresh fruits, veggies, clothing, gifts and souvineer vendors. If you want upscale shopping, then Fishermen's Village is the place to go.

Port Charlotte is very busy this time of year! Daytime traffic is heavy but planning your getting around really helps. Try to plan local travels to minimize left turns. Great restaurant selections: Metro Diner breakfast 1720 Tamiami Trl. recommended!
