November is a great time to visit. It's less crowded on hiking trails and restaurants and black Friday deals at the outlets were amazing

The region is tourism-oriented. There is a lot to do for all ages. The place is surrounded by nature, and not so far away from Concord or the coast.

Don't waste your money on the 1 hour train ride. Expensive and literally a waste of time. It runs parallel to Route 16 and basically the entire ride is a view of the back of all the businesses on one side and forest with a few fields on the other.

I absolutely love North Conway. Been coming here for many, many years. Very relaxing place to be. I love it in the Summer because I'm not into the Winter sports. Great Restaurants! And you have to visit Zeb's General Store across from the common

The scenic chair ride at MT Cranmore was awesome. If you have never been to the Fryeburg Fair your missing out. Moved on to our regular Cabin at Sunnybrook Cottages in Albany for nights 2&3.

North Conway Mountain Inn

"Great bargain, clean and comfortable. No microwave oven.
• Beds are comfortable.
• Everything was clean, especially the bathroom.
• In the middle of all Conway-area attractions. Attractions at Crawford Notch and Lincoln, NH are two scenic, relatively short (40-59 minutes) drives away.
• NO MICROWAVE oven, I.e., no hot breakfast until you go out.
• Plenty of room for four guests to move about.
• Affordable but does NOT feel 'cheap.' (3 adults, two Queen beds were $140.00 total in the middle of summer. That was a night's stay for only $47 each person.)
• Two beds, only 1 nightstand, between them (an extension cord and outlet splitter in your luggage will be needed if more than one person uses CPAP or other electronic devices at night).
• Each bed has four pillows, two firm and two firmer. I like soft pillows but the firms were fine, very comfortable.
• Shower water pressure was good, towels are left for two guests; if more must ask for additional.
• Air conditioner was strong and cool despite 95+ degrees heat.
• Adequate mini-fridge.
• 2 very nice and padded chairs.
• Nice mini-porch out back for sitting and enjoying the mountain view.
• Window and back deck door curtains are very thick and let you keep room dark if you like to sleep in.
• You do not hear your neighbors at all. through the walls.
• Ample free parking right against the building, near the stairs.
• No pens or paper. No spoons or forks or even a 'spork'
• Coffee maker 2 cups, sugar and sweeteners"
"This property is SO CHILD FRIENDLY! From the moment you check in, they offer complimentary juice and cookies. There are kid friendly activities throughout the day from movies in the movie theater to ice cream socials and games. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
There's a market basket and outlets next door. Totally recommend grabbing pizza and sandwiches at MB. Their prices and pizza are both great!
It's a 5 minute drive to downtown N Conway and about 10-15 minutes to story land.
The rooms are comfortable. Beds are comfortable but the blankets are very light - if you like a heavier blanket, I suggest you bring one with you. The only con would be that the rooms are very dry. If you have a baby, like we did, I would recommend bringing a humidifier. We all came back with a cold due to the dry conditions.
Indoor pool is very cold. Outdoor pool is the perfect temperature. The kiddie pool is also freezing so our littles enjoyed the outdoor pool best. We loved the kid sized robes that were provided in the room!
Food choices at the restaurant are so so for lunch and dinner. The restaurants in the area close early and some don't take takeout orders so plan accordingly. Breakfast at the hotel's restaurant is good. Coffee is a bit watery but I like strong coffee so that's more of a personal feel.
There's free complimentary charging for EV vehicles too which is awesome and so convenient.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!"
"I was pleasantly surprised by this property. Great location, nicely renovated rooms, had activities for kids and families (arcade area, pool table, common spaces). Enjoyed my stay!"
"My wife and I were hiking the Mt. Eisenhower and did not want to drive home after. They had 7 vacancies left, this is a new Hotel for North Conway NH . We loved the convenience to downtown and everything else. Very friendly staff, extremely clean hotel and to rooms, I think price was a little steep, but for one night it was ok for our situation. We will stay here again, just wish price was $100.00 lower. "
"Clean and neat but needs an update to facilities. Breakfast was good. Lawn was dead, outside pool was overgrown. Nothing was of a big concern but looks poor is all."
"Never stayed here before, we were a bit skeptical because of the age of the motel. We were very pleased! The room had so many extra convinces and it was very clean. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The spa tub in room, microwave, refrigerator all a bonus.
It is an older motel but the owners are improving the rooms all the time."
