Would stay again!
Did a weekend mother/daughter getaway and this hotel’s amenities and location exceeded our expectations. It is recently remodeled older building and feels fresh/hip. Would definitely recommend staying here to friends. Also, staff were kind and friendly like everyone else we encountered in PR.

Very nice hotel in Old San Juan.
We really enjoyed the hotel and the young lady at front desk in the evenings is wonderful. But - no one came to service our room even after we asked twice. No o e ever serviced/cleaned the room. In addition both of our key cards failed to work after one use. No big deal to get them replaced but perhaps you can investigate.

Beautiful hotel
Alma was a pleasure to stay at, they are in the heart of San Juan with beautiful views from the roof top with amazing food and service. The hotel staff is amazing and so helpful. If you are going to San Juan this is a must go to. Thank you Guys for an amazing week

A Must Stay
Alma Hotel is absolutely amazing! From the minute we arrived to the minute we left the team at Alma was incredible. Our room was beautiful and cleaned daily. The rooftop restaurant was outstanding. Everyone was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located and made walking around Old San Juan very easy. I highly recommend staying at Alma!

Cons: poor noise insulation, inconvenient elevator access in stairwells, small & slow elevator speed, tiny windows in small rooms, no parking close by Walls and doors are NOT insulated for sound. Could hear adjoining room's entire phone conversation, word-for-word. The inside of the hotel is also open-air, meaning no closed hallways, and you can hear EVERYTHING happening on all 6-7 floors from inside your hotel room. Both elevators are also inside stairwells and not centrally located, which is a bit inconvenient and cramped to get into the elevator. The elevators themselves are also super small and take a really long time to go up and down. The rooms themselves are also quite small, and we only had 3 tiny windows towards the top of the ceiling so there's no sunlight, view, or ventilation. Pros: Staff were friendly, location is great, bed is comfortable, bathroom was decently sized. The adjoining floor-level restaurant is under construction, but ironically this didn't generate that much noise. The rooftop restaurant / bar has great views and food is great.
