Arlington is a cool suburb of DC. I have lived there previously. Many changes and much modernization from when I was a resident. A great place to stay when visiting Washington, with easy Metro connections and good eats.

It is a clean and safe area. Easy access to a metro station that takes you right into the city. The only downside is that dining in Arlington can get pretty expensive.

About a mile walk to Marine Corps Monument and short hop to Arlington Cemetery. If you stay here, you must go and see the changing of the guard!

The area was a bit sketchy 20 years ago but is now so clean and developed. There are shops and restaurants near the station.

I want my money back! I booked a room at the Marriott though there were better price options in the immediate area. A week before check-in, I was notified that the property was sold but still at Marriott quality. It was nowhere near up to par! REFUND

This is situated in Rosslyn, which is bustling and walkable, with good dining options and access to the Metro for a short commute to downtown DC. My complaints are not about the location, but rather about the place and the hosting company.

Arlington has a lot to see and experience. You just have to make time and/or visit a few times to see all it has to offer. I actually wouldn't mind relocating to Arlington after the kiddos are out of the nest!

Walkable distance to Starbucks in the mornings for coffee and Iwo Jimo memorial and Arlington National Cemetery were both walkable from the hotel. 5 minute commute to National Mall
"Ended up here after a flight cancellation at DCA. Nice rooms, very friendly staff. Shuttle to airport is provided (even tho it didn’t seem to be a listed service…I called and they confirmed they had one running and from which doors at DCA). "
