6/10 Good

The property is pretty new, so has potential. Upon arrival I had to borrow a broom to sweep up hair, dust and dirt from my room. And had to wash down surfaces, and remove debris from the very dirty floormat. I didn’t want to ask staff to do the work as she was babysitting an infant and already was out of breath from bringing me up to my room and going back down to retrieve my key. I was provided 3 microfiber towels, that had an odor of being left in the washer too long, so I used my own travel towel. The bathroom was super tiny with the handheld shower head in the center, so everything got wet during showering, so I used one of towels for the floor. Having screaming infants and children in a playpen in the lobby all day and evening was distressing for me - I have a strong emotional response to crying and distressed children. The sound echoed right up the granite stairwell. The neighbors were also outside coughing and clearing their noses throughout the day. Although I was given a smaller/cheaper room than the room I paid for, the view was beautiful. It’s a long climb to get to the hotel, which allows for such a great view. This place is very inexpensive, and is great for someone who isn’t picky and doesn’t need quiet or cleanliness. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a good match for me. I left a day early and moved into something that works much better for me.
