Really lovely resort. Views from the hotel, the bedrooms, restaurants, bar areas etc are amazing over the sea and beach. Being quite high up on a rocky hill, tiered levels, there are lots of steps and slopes to pool areas and beach especially if you have mobility issues, not enough buggies around.

Lovely hotel and good food with a great selection of drinks to choose from. The hotel is quite isolated at the end of a small bay, guests stayed in the hotel grounds so sunbeds were quite difficult to get unless you were very early risers. For us there wasn’t enough evening entertainment or seating for guests. All in all though a lovely relaxing holiday.

The property is uniquely placed on the hillside with amazing sunset views. The beach is also really nice, but sometimes a bit rough during the day. The food is great with loads of options at the buffet restaurant. Drinks are endless and the staff were very nice, friendly and attentive. Since it’s a newer resort, some areas could use a few finishing touches. Overall it’s a great resort, great location, excellent views, great food options and very relaxing atmosphere, perfect for adults and couples. Would definitely stay at Alkyna again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alkyna the staff were all super friendly. Rooms were very lovely with an incredible view, buffet and restaurant food were really good for an all inclusive really enjoyed that. Our only negatives were there was a flashing light in our room every night from the smoke detector and the bars were very understaffed we had to wait over an hour for a drink on the rooftop bar which was a bit annoying but the pool staff were unreal as were the beach staff.

We absolutely loved our trip and are already looking ahead to our next visit. Only things to note would be the infrastructure, the resort has some very steep climbs to get around. You can order carts to move you around, but just to be aware. I would highly recommend though, everything else, the view, the service was outstanding. This holiday was for my birthday and the staff provided a little surprise at dinner! Very friendly staff. Hotel room was clean and very quiet. Great amenities such as a razor, toothbrush, soap, dressing robe and slippers plus more. Buffet break, lunch and dinner was amazing every time. The hotel was amazing, they really accommodated to the fact that my partner didn’t eat red meats and pork and you could see the effort they put in to keep up a standard of great service. The views were breathtaking it actually felt very surreal when sitting and taking it all in. The only downfall was from a member of staff (Socila) who blatantly racially profiled my partner and I at breakfast where she asked us what we wanted for drinks after her manager told her to come over, we told her our order she went to the station and didn’t put it through ignored us for about 20 minutes after asking multiple times for our drinks, until my partner called the manager and explained what happened and he ended up getting our drinks. Overall the hotel was amazing I would highly recommend because they made us feel so comfortable.

Excellent value for money, stunning scenery, and the food and drink options were great - though there were a couple of things that weren't up to scratch for a 5 star hotel. On check-in our room was filled with ants, the reception staff member was not at all concerned - housekeeping came and swept some up.. We'd specifically booked a balcony sea view, but the balcony garden was overrun with weeds. There are no maps and a lack of directions on where to find the restaurants etc, which while not a major, would be a quick fix.

Facilities were nice, the staff were very helpful. Though there were one or two teething issues, those were to be expected for a facility of that size that only just opened. I believe volunteering to refund us the cost of the stay because of those minor issues is a mark of the excellence they are striving for. The quality of food was great too. Loved how the hotel is tucked into a hillside overlooking two pools as well as the ocean and beautiful cliffs and rocks. Gorgeous sunsets while you sit in the restaurant or outside with a drink. Live music entertains the crowd at the Mediterranean restaurant. Staff are polite and professional. Great variety of food at the buffet and excellent quality at both Mediterranean and Italian restaurants. Stroll through the adorable little village nearby and along the beach. Rent a car and explore more lovely areas of Corfu.
