While the location & quality of the place was great, & this is why we came here previously & choose this hotel every year, this year 2 incidents might make us decide not to come again. First is we were lied to at check in that the room we booked, Expedia made a mistake about & did not inform them of our room selection so they will give us another room, as the one we selected isn’t available. After we insisted that Expedia doesn’t do that mistake & that we want the room he said he’ll see what he can do & came back 15 mins later saying he solved it, which means he wasn’t very honest in the beginning !! there are only 3 rooms from the type we booked, so I find it difficult to believe he didn’t know it was available ?? Second, on check out, we asked if we could check out late, the manager asked a staff member if our room (203) is reserved & without hesitation he said yes it, & apologised, we said ok & spent the day at the hotel beach, only to realise at departure at the end of the day, that the room was totally empty & hadn’t even been cleaned when we left that evening. So quite disappointed with the management & staff dishonesty. I recommend to the owner to find better people to manage the place as it’s a shame that in this day and age some hotel staff still behave that way.
