A very nice hotel in the heart of old town Girona. The location was perfect in order to appreciate the main parts of the old town. The hotel management was charming and assisted when necessary. This is a distinct complex that represents the beauties of midieval Girona. The breakfast was a treat and the areas available for dining all had memorable beauties.

Fantastic stay. Beautiful everything, exquisite renovation and decoration. Book with your eyes closed!! I just wished they were serving breakfast in the room without the 30€ charge but besides this todo perfecto!

Beautiful hotel right in the center of old town girona. Quieter area. Beautiful terrace room. Looking out was dreamy, with ivy, a garden below and medieval towers above.

Beautiful hotel and excellent location.
The thing that makes the hotel exceptional are the staff who cannot do enough for you.
The interior design is really well done mixing timeless classics and contemporary in the hotels medieval bones.
Personally I am not a huge fan of glass boxes for showers and loo areas but all stylishly done.
Also within easy walking distance to the rail station if you want to explore further. Great hotel and we will return

One thing - if you use Google maps it will take you up a tiny street you cannot turn around in. I dropped off my partner and then was committed to a very slow 20 minute drive through small alleyways with pedestrians to find the way out and parking. It was just a 6-minute walk downhill back to the hotel but still kind of a stressful experience. Not the hotel's fault... Hotel and rooms are awesome. Just don't drive to the front door.

The staff was multi-lingual, helped with our luggage when we arrived early and help make dinner recommendations. The design and interiors were very nice. We loved the cold plunge pool and courtyard. Only suggestion: the rooms and patios can use some hooks for hanging towels, swimsuits, etc. The breakfast was so beautifully presented and very much appreciated for our 50 km bike ride to St. Feliu de Guixols

Stopped in Girona for 3 nights to start our trip. It spoiled us for sure. the staff was above attentive and super flexible. Breakfast was amazing. The location could not have been better. Add to that a comfortable, elegant room and beautiful common areas and it made a perfect stay!

Location and staff could not have been better. Be sure to book a visit to the interior zen pool and visit the roof terrace that I only discovered the last day. Interior design is very nice and "instagrammable".
Only negative points were no table in room for working, I was told that I could work in the library. And the TV started with a guide to get to a portal that did not work. To get to the regular tv channels I had to get tech support. Other than these minor isssues everything worked.

I very much enjoyed my stay. The location in the middle of the old city was perfect. The breakfasts were very good and varied but served in a slightly quirky fashion. I, personally, prefer a buffet when one can select what one wants when one wants. My room layout was also a bit strange but, maybe, that's down to the way several very old buildings have been combined and refurbished.
Two things I didn't like were the light switch set up, which was really odd and confusing. Also, there was no power socket close to the bed which would have been useful for phone charging etc. I was also shocked that smoking was allowed in the hotel atrium which is the main sitting area adjacent to the bar. The area is technically open to the sky but it's used like an inside space. Not pleasant!
