Good stay at Urban Frame
Very good hotel, in central area of Athens close to touristic places. Very nice service in general. Good room, modern and with necessary amenities. Only downsize was breakfast: basic and area in basement. Decided to go nearby to good eateries.

At arrival we were greeted by a restriction name Elena Was very dry. While we went to our room, we noticed the room was very crap.and hot we left to go sing seeing but went go back 4 hr later the room still was very hot . Call the reception Elena and she came up and told me that I didn’t know how to use it !! and look at me like was it stupid she proceeded to reset the air conditioner setting and left. I contacted Expedia immediately requesting to be canceled the reservations. I didn’t feel welcoming in the place in the room two hours after to reset it is still hot. Frustrated didn’t do much for us. I waited 24 hours because I don’t want to lose my money she said won’t be no refunded and Expedia sent me an email saying it will give me $50. Can I use reservation? I have no receipt so that’s what happened the next day manager arrive and she switch a room to a better room with air-conditioning , check out August 10 And check into a better hotel we didn’t know uses Expedia for this reservations.

The hotel is within walking distance of several attractions. Lots of dining options available. The rooms are very small, and if you plan on using the sofa bed, there is no space for movement. Breakfast was good.

Good hotel in good location.
Very good experience. The front desk workers were all very helpful and kind. Breakfast was good with variety of food. The room was clean, just smaller than expected, but maybe thats just me being used to american hotels. Bathroom was clean and good size. Location is good. 10 minute walk to acropolis and other monumets. Will recommend it.

Recommend ‘superior room’
We stayed in a superior room for our last night in Europe and the room was very comfortable and fresh - lovely shower, cosy queen bed, big tv, cold water in fridge, sofa and small balcony. The breakfast was ok although terrible Nescafé coffee. Reception staff were helpful and luggage storage no problems. We were able to explore Athens sites nearby and then come back at night to collect our bags and use toilet before heading to airport.

The staff was good except upon check in they made us wait until they were off their personal phone call, one team member was rude to my adult daughter when she went to all am amenities question and also had an incident with the same team member. Unfortunately during our entire two week stay we only had hot water in our room one time. They did try to accommodate us buy letting us go to a different room when someone had checked out before someone else checked in on the separate occasions. If I had stayed in a hostel that might be acceptable except that I have never stayed in a hostel not would I. In reality when booking a hotel room hot water is not an amenity. They really were apologetic don’t misunderstand me but, it was not acceptable. I am a senior citizen who had just had both knees replaced and a hip and the room they put us in had at least a 12 to 14 inch step down to even get in the bathroom. If my husband or daughter would not have been in the room with me I would still be stuck in that bathroom. Our daughter was there with us for the first of the two weeks and never got to take a hot shower once, she took cold showers the whole time. I struggled with this. Breakfast was good/adequate but it was literally the exact same thing every single day, which gets really old after two weeks, some variety would have been nice. The manager felt really bad and was very nice and helpful as was the other team member, housekeeping and the lady who maintained the breakfast were great

Overall good experience; clean hotel, modern facilities. We were on the fifth floor and the AC seemed to struggle; the lowest setting is 19°C and our room consistently was at 21.5°. It would have been okay if there was at least some air movement, but since the AC unit was around the corner from the bed (at least in our room), we ended up sweating through the nights.
