We have stayed at Lancaster Square twice and have enjoyed our stays. We have stayed at both the one bedroom and the two bedroom apartments and both are equally enjoyable.

Clean and comfortable
The hotel is more of a mini-apartment. It was very difficult navigating to get into the room without any concierge, but the instructions were moderately clear= that's theonly downside, no concierge or daily housekeeping. Otherwise, the apartment was clean, the location was nice, and the amenities made the stay very comfortable. I would recommend it.

Not a decent location, not a decent building.
over 23 miles from the conventional center, a small 3 stories building, not really attractive.

A Nice Alternative
This was a very nice stay. It was nice to have all the room of a comfortable, light-filled apartment (including a kitchen and washer/dryer) as opposed to a hotel room. The location was excellent for my work at Johns Hopkins East Baltimore campus. You are right in the midst of Fells Point. A big bonus is the gated parking included in the reservation. The only draw back might be the lack of a front desk. If one arrives before checkin or after checkout you can't leave and retrieve your bags. Communication is terrific with those overseeing the property locally.

Authentic stay in Baltimore Fells
The stay in this 2 bedroom apartment was great. I was a bit concerned about the area when I arrived but it was actually pretty great. Shops and restaurants were nearby. I did not love the locked gate and lockbox at the front gate and I was given the wrong code for entry which caused a bit of confusion getting in. Having to call when you are standing on the street with your luggage is not ideal. The area seemed quaint and had an authentic residential feel. This is much more of the real Baltimore than the Inner Harbor. After the key trouble getting in everything went smoothly and they have really thought of everything you need. I did wish it had carpeting to make it feel a bit more cozy, but this is probably for cleanliness. I would stay again :)

Great Stay! Better than a Hotel
Enjoyed staying there very much. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms well appointed - and there were two! and the kitchen was well set up. The room was really nice, the furniture comfortable and not cheap, and the flooring was beautiful. It would have made it to five star/first rate except for some small details. Fix these and I would not hesitate to give it five stars. • Tell people in the information packet that there is no back way to the parking lot, you have to go out the front door and out into the street • The lighting around the eating table is very dim and could be improved • Tell us where to dispose of the garbage (we left ours in the room) • Glass is a terrible cutting board material - replace with a cheap wooden or bamboo one • I would suggest that you include dish soap or dish machine soap for the # of days we will stay. It is a minuscule cost to you, and makes things easier for the guest • Have salt and pepper shakers in the room - they are cheap - or are people stealing them? • When you leave the keys in the lockbox on the last day, note that the lockbox is to the LEFT as you get off the elevator

Wonderful accommodations!
Both my husband and myself are so happy that we booked our stay at Lancaster Square. Everything was very well organized from getting the keys, using the room amenities, and having parking at the ready! The bed was super comfy as were the other furnishings. The room, appliances, dishes, towels, and bedding were white glove clean. The shower had terrific water pressure. Lancaster Square will certainly be our first choice for any future trips to Baltimore!
