It has superb breakfast. Swimming pool is really nice even we did not use though. Close to the main road and the hotel is just besides the river.

Although the property is great, my big qualm with this property is how they handled the additional person i had in the room. When i made the reservation, I reserved a suite which says is good for 4 people. The reservation on orbitz indicated 3 but my husband ended up coming last minute. When i checked in i told them we were 4 and not 3 so i was going to pay them the difference for breakfast which was included in the price. They told me they would charge me 40euros extra per day. I asked why so much and they said because there is extra labour for the 1 additional person. When i went to the room, the room was only set up for 3 so I called the front desk and they sent someone - it took them no more than 3 minutes to set up the bed for the 4th person and give me extra towels. So for all of this I have to pay 40euros extra - this doesn't make sense. Overall because i had 1 extra person I paid the equivalent of $150 Cdn - I could have easily not mentioned anything to them when i checked in but I was honest to have disclosed this and this is the way they reward honesty. At breakfast they don't even ask what room number who have so we could have had the extra person and they would not have noticed. So in the end, they do not know how to treat customers and the lesson learned for me is the next time i will not disclose i have extra people in my room. $150 is alot for us and during our 2 days in merano- we had to forego going out for supper to compensate for this extra fee

Amazing hotel by the river
We absolutely loved our stay at the hotel. We stayed in a suite but needed a rollaway bed because we had extra guests. We put that in the instructions when we booked and they had it set up and made when we got there! The front desk spoke wonderful English and were so welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. They even baked these little cookies for the hotel lobby each day that were so delicious we had to grab one each time we walked by! I recommend this place over and over again.

Stayed here for one night during a 5 day visit to northern Italy. This was by far the best hotel we stayed in. The staff could not have been more helpful. The room was excellent and faced onto the river and had a private balcony. Would certainly stay here again.

Charming service appartment with river view
The hotel room/appartment was very nice and large, with a lovely view over the river. The outdoor pool was small but lovelly. The location is great, only minutes away from Merano's centre. One thing bothered me though, the wifi did not work in our room at all, we had to go to the ground floor to get wifi, even though the staff told us everything was fine, none of our devices could connect from inside the room.

Excellent location and hotel standard of cleanlines, quality, service, staff and comprehensive breakfast buffet. Parking a squeeze if opting for outside but free of charge but you need to leave keys with hotel staff. I opted to pay for a garage space and recommend this is reserved in advance as spaces limited and no need to leave keys for others to move your car if concerned.
