Lovely location and atmosphere
Lovely building, quiet, and comfy bed. Staff was friendly and courteous. Towels, bedding and overall room were clean but there were visible water streaks and handprints on bathroom walks. Just felt a little neglected. Room could also use some optional brighter lighting. Enjoyed the location - was able to walk the area and find nice shops and restaurants. Would stay here again and do more exploring by foot.

We were on the 4th floor woth a view of the parking lot. It was very noisy on Sat night and didnt queit down past two the morning. Also no elevator service to the 4th floor so you gotta take the stairs from the 3rd floor. That said, location and the cost for the stay were excellent.

I booked the room in part because it had a beautiful big bathtub but we never got to use it because the plug was broken. We reported the problem and were told it would be fixed the next day but it wasn’t. Otherwise it was a lovely stay but that one detail was a disappointment.

Beautiful stay in historic hotel!
What a beautiful stay in downtown St John's! Room was great size, comfy bed, good shower. Location is great. Only downside is their elevator only goes to 3rd floor. So if your room is on the 4th floor like ours then have to hike up extra level by stairs
