Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel & would stay again but the front desk staff sucked.
We arrived the Hyatt PCB for our "mini moon" - a little trip after our wedding. I called the night before arriving to confirm our room would be on a high floor, the woman I spoke with had an attitude about the reason for my call, but confirmed that I paid for & will be placed on a high floor. We arrive the next day & the man checking us in was not enthused to be there & it showed. We are then told our room is on the 4th floor (out of 11). I tell him "no, I confirmed last night we are on a high floor." He tells me there is nothing else available. After these two experiences with the front desk workers, I'm upset that this might be a sneak peek into what our stay will be like. The front desk was dry, blunt, & unenthused about providing any kind of customer service. Frankly, they sucked. Therefore, I avoided the front desk for the rest of our stay & things were great.
Our room was beautiful. We spent a lot of time in the Lazy River & Pool. Great area with lots of seating & great access to the bar & restaurant menu. They provided the best wings & burger I think I've ever had. There was nothing super special about it, it was just done really well. The bartenders, waitstaff, & housekeeping staff were absolutely LOVELY. They clearly had an understanding of customer service.
I recommend staying on the ocean side of the building. Other side, can get loud if there is an event in town.
