Compared to the cost of the room, Pop Art Hotel is 6 stars out of 5 for location and service. It is 5 stars for the room.
The location is downtown and many attractions, coffee shops, or restaurants are minutes away walking. I suggest visiting the “Queso y Cafe” coffee shops … it is one minute walking in front of the Olaza de Bolivar. I also suggest using the cable car terminal to go to bus terminal if you travel by bus between cities. The station is 12 minutes walking away from hotel. In terms of service, there is an angel called Sandra … she is very attentive, friendly and efficient. She introduced herself to me. When she saw me going out of the hotel, she went to clean my room. I returned to a very organized room. The buffet breakfast is diversified and couple of options change from day to day. You will love the buffet breakfast if you love pork as many of the dishes have pork. I do not eat pork and hence, had less choices. Though, they made me my own scrambled eggs when they saw me not even eating the egg with beacon. The hotel has free water and free coffee at reception. There are couple of areas where you can enjoy playing table tennis or other table hobbies. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There is no fridge. The safe had its wires showing and I did not use it as I felt it is unsafe. No air conditioner … as you do not need it as this city is colder than rest of Colombia. The view from the room was amazing as I can see the mountains.
