The room was clean, had ample space and seemed to have all of your basic necessities, aside from the usual toiletries (soap dispenser next to sink and body gel/shampoo dispenser in shower). However, the front-desk service was, to put it mildly, less than welcoming and the maid woke us up at 9:30 a.m. (on a Sunday). There was no 'do not disturb' sign to put out, as far as I could tell, so needless to say, this wake-up call was unnecessary and unappreciated. Our checkout wasn't until noon so I don't understand why she couldn't just check with the reception desk to find out who had already checked out and who hadn't. Moreover, she came back at 10:30 and again at 11:30, by which time we were up. There were 2 doors, one directly to the outside, and another inside, with a small corridor between the two and a window looking in on the room. While I was mustering the energy to respond to her banging and "IS ANYONE HERE?!?!" She opened the outer door, entered, and saw us sleeping through the window. Awkward, to say the least....
