Wonderful new modern hotel in Art Nouveau area
We had an amazing view of the old town from our family room. The room itself was a good size and very good condition. Only steps away from some good restaurants plus Alberta Street with some amazing Art Nouveau buildings. Old Town was 10-15 minutes away; but the walk was pleasant. We ate at the breakfast buffet one morning which was a little lacking in variety; but the hotel staff were lovely and helpful.

Great property! Perfect location to walk in Centrs or Old Town, didn't need a car. Only used Bolt for airport transfers (much cheaper and faster than taxi) and when it rained to get back to the hotel. Room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Never any issues with noise from surroundings.

Riga we will be back
Trip to check out Riga went well. Came from Tallinn by coach, hotel is as expected from Marriott group, excellent staff at reception and lovely room. The hotel breakfast is second to none, only drawbacks are no bottled water in the room and the cast to TV feature didn't work. We'd have used the hdmi ports but they are not accessible. Hotel is handily situated for old town and Art Deco area.

We were on business trip and had to go the the conference straight as we have arrived from the airport. The staff assisted and made us checked in the morning. They were always there to assist. There are amazing restaurants around and it very quite area in general. On top of my list in Riga.

Modern hotel with great spacious rooms (wood floors no carpet) and bathrooms. Great locations and walking distance to anywhere you want to go. These use fab KORRES products in the bathroom which was well appreciated. The only issue is the doors to the rooms needs to be slammed shut for them to close, creating unnecessary noise.

Was well received. Had heated the room before, but a little more upstairs than we wanted. Got changed to another room. It was not heated, but employees ran up and put the heat on. Also got to borrow a fan heater. We arrived at the hotel late in the evening and still the service was good. The breakfast was good. We will use this hotel again, and it is recommended.

The room wasn't cleaned properly, and the washroom had a glass barn door! Noisy when moved, no sound protection whatsoever, and the light coming right through - it was impossible to use it at night without waking up each other! The light started blinking on Friday, I was told there is no replacement before Monday, and was moved to another room. The light in that room started blinking too on Monday (thankfully) so it was fixed. But I expected much better accommodation from Marriott.
