We reserved 2 rooms for a family trip. The rooms were fairly clean, but the shower curtains had mold on it (both rooms). Each room only had 2 sets of towels (we had 3 people in our room and the other room had 4 people). We had to ask for more and, although they gave them to us, we felt like they really didn't want to. Both AC units shut off in the middle of the night (almost like they had them on a timer of some sort). It advertised a pool which was disappointedly not open (still covered from the winter). The breakfast consisted of a waffle maker and a coffee machine (no fruit, muffins, danish, etc).
The front desk staff was courteous though. It was a quiet place to stay. Old Saybrook is a quaint little town.
