No food available after 21:00 and really unhelpful and grumpy receptionist when I checked in. As I didn't have a car and didn't want to wait for an hour for a very unhealthy takeaway from the limited Deliveroo options in the area, I didn't get dinner, which wasn't welcome after my long journey from mainland Europe. On the plus side, super friendly and helpful staff at breakfast and very nice porridge :)

I enjoyed the hotel's location close to the pleasant town of Leixlip and a fantastic walking trail that passes alongside old ruins, pastures, and the River Luffey. I also enjoyed the comfortable room and delicious Irish breakfast.

Room was in need of attention. Dust in certain areas, damage to the wall was patched up but not in the same wall colour. Room was beside a staff room door that was constantly opened and closed and on the other side was the noisey air conditioning units that you couldn't see (because of frozed glass) but you could see if you opened the small window the inch that you could. Food ordered was bland and tasteless and straight out of a microwave, terrible.
