Great location, good communication about how to get in, and on extra charges for things like cleaning, which has to be ordered. Took us a while to work out how to get out of the security gates and on to the street. Kitchen area is a positive but a sink would round it off nicely as kettle has to filled slowly using mugs in the sink in the shower-room, but overall very happy, good stay, good value.

Hotel has a great location. However the concept is kind for a younger client audience. I am 48 and was not as comfortable as I like to be. I would not recommend if you expect a more “traditional” room. Maybe 20 years younger I would had another opinion. Great customer service but it’s not you, is me….

Overall this worked well for our stay exploring Madrid. We were excited there was a shared laundry room, but the clothes took an entire day to dry on drying racks, and were still damp when we had to pack. The staff was all very nice. The area is very walkable on a pedestrian street with lots of shopping. It was nice there were yoga mats and a gym available. It’s a basic spot with some extra thoughtful amenities.

Bob W. is a fabulous host. I felt perfectly informed from the moment of booking. The accommodation is very clean and beautifully furnished. The communal kitchen, laundry room and luggage room leave nothing to be desired either! The staff are very accommodating. I booked this property because of the reviews and high ratings. When we arrived, I was surprised that the concrete bedroom floor looked unfinished. No one has mentioned it in a review, and if you come from North America, you are used to carpeted or hardwood floors and not concrete. The bedroom floor wasn't properly cleaned, and the concrete floor looks dirty. I informed management right away via WhatsApp. The next morning, Maria came and had a look. She promised to have the floor cleaned again, which they did. The location is very convenient except that taxis/Uber have to drop/pick you off at the corner since the property is on a shopping street and no vehicles can come in. The property is on the 4th floor, and the hallways are carpeted and clean. The Wi-Fi is super strong, and each room has its own Wi-Fi. The bathroom has a concrete floor again, but it looks modern and updated. The beds were comfortable. There is a laundry area where they provide everything, including laundry bags and drying racks. Their customer service (Maria) and the rest of their team are easy to talk to and respond fast.

Ideal place to base yourself for a trip to Madrid. Metro station a few minutes walk up the road, but major sites are all within walking distance. If you’re tired at the end of the day and don’t want to be around Plaza Mayor or Sol, there are many many bars and restaurants minutes away from the apartment. The apartment is clean with all the facilities you need and more. Had a view over the square which was great for people watching. We had our own kitchenette but there is also a larger more equipped kitchen guests can share and access to a washing machine/dryer. Luggage storage facilities too so if you have a late flight you can safely leave your bags there. Not having a reception desk is not an issue, the key codes to access the building worked smoothly. Great extra touches as well such as fruit and biscuits in your room when you arrive, spare charging cables, cotton wool, shower gel, cloth and washing up liquid. And not stingy with the loo rolls as I’ve experienced before in other apartments. Communication really good with emails and a monitored WhatsApp. Highly recommended and will use Bob again. Thanks to all the staff on site for a job well done.
