2nd stay- modernized inn, hotel vibes. First stay was in 3 bed room which is spacious! Loved it. Last stay was in 2 bed room. Still modern and clean. This is our go to place since daughter goes to UCSB.

I was very happy with this hotel. The room was very clean ,neat and tidy. The parking lot was clean and well lit. Our room had a nice patio that you could sit on.The breakfast they served was very good. This hotel has been redone and updated really well. I would stay here again.

A vacay in Santa Barbara
If you have a car, everything is a short drive away. Facility is very clean. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is typical buffet, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, cereal etc. Coffee and hot chocolate machine, and also cookies, available all day long. Elevator to upper two floors. Carriage Museum across the street. Enjoyed our stay there.

Walk to beach, quiet neighborhood
Avania is a short walk from the beach. The lobby and rooms have all been updated and redecorated. Our room on the ground floor had a private patio with two chairs and a small table. Shower was great and easy to use, though bathroom is small. Breakfast room is light and airy with loads of seating and good food. We would stay there again!!
