10/10 Excellent

Had a wonderful stay and will definitely return!
Marissa, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Close enough to Denali. Cabins right on the river creek. Great location.
Ramesh, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

Rooms are very small but functional. Highlight of the hotel is the proximity to Denali and river behind it. We did not eat at the property, instead went to Healy area. Thai truck across the street is good too.
Rahul, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Location next a river is nice. Short distance to trail heads. Restaurant on site is good.
Lai Ping, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

Poor condition outdated room and amenities for room cost. Noisy buses parking in same area as hotel. No refrigerator No views, No hot tub or pool
greg, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Very nice place. Shuttle gives 6 mile ride to Denali National Park, but has shuttle service from hotel only at 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 2:00, 5:00. No Uber or Taxis are available. Food is somewhat limited as there isn’t much other than the lodge restaurant and burger place. Food is mediocre and somewhat expensive. Thai food truck and Chinese food truck at the Denali Bear across the street is excellent.
Phillip, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

It was right on a river, very peaceful.
Mary Beth, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

The cabin we were given was very small, the electric heater could not warm the room past 60 and when we asked for another cabin we were told they were sold out and were sorry about the heater. The room was so small there was not enough space between the bed and wall to get to the bathroom comfortably.
JAMES, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

No microwave in room, very much surprised and a little disappointed.
MIN, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

Front desk staff were my least favorite staff members. The food servers were a 10 out of 10 and the true stars of DPV. There should be a late shuttle run in the evening too, past 8pm. Add Eggs Benedict to the menu and spaghetti noodles too for kids. I don’t know of a kid who likes linguine pasta, which is the only option they offer. DPV needs to invest in an onsite backup generator too. Both power and water went out during my stay; I wasn’t offered a credit on my bill for the inconvenience it caused—I had four occupants in my room! The puzzles in the lobby should be Alaska themed. And why would you stock a gift shop with products made in China! Find USA made products!!! Maybe add a cigar bar onsite.
Douglas, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Mountains and river lake view are so wonderful!
Mercedes, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

The facility sits on a gorgeous piece of property with a river running behind it, a walking path, and an education center that can be used by young and old to study the surrounding area. Our room was old, blinds were tattered, it was however clean.
Mike, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Nice property. Clean and well kept. Good service.
Regina, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Good location, lacking in character

Decent lodge with all the facilities required but was a little dark and also a lot of road noise from a nearby bridge as well as noise from the railway. The restaurant was decent food but because of the large groups and open plan style did not feel particularly cosy / intimate as a restaurant.
Gavin, 2-night trip

4/10 Poor

Mediocre Stay

It’s an old place, heating wasn’t working, and the fan in the bathroom was obnoxious. Some of the power outlets didn’t work, and when we told them about the issues, they asked us to wait a couple of hours.
1-night trip

8/10 Good

Loved being on the river! Front desk said we were on 1st floor but our room was actually on 2nd floor. We didn’t have any hot water at 8:30 in the morning to shower. Nice lobby area but restaurant/bar was only open till 9:00. We ended up having to go elsewhere to eat a late dinner. Overall it was a good place and would stay there again
Susan, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Terrible TV /Wifi service. Food is way overpriced, but not terrible. Breakfast is lackluster at best. No fridge or microwave in rooms. Denali was closed due to fires. Onsite hotel staff offered no other trail options. We searched for a few hours to find something. Hotel needs a good concierge.
James, 2-night trip

4/10 Poor

The reservation was to pay at the property but the payment was charged at the time of reservation and they charged addition amounts which had to be disputed to get that back. Overall the room promised was facing river but was not and room had misty odor.

We had to take our luggage up a flight of stairs. My 78 year old mother cannot do that so there was a worker there that assisted. This is mostly tailored to tour companies. It was one of the last nights of the season so food was near the end.
