We were given a room in the 8th floor of the building. While the view was amazing from the room's windows, the room itself did not meet our standards and expectations.
More specifically, the room's interior design was old and unattractive, and the spaces were inconvenient, except perhaps from the bathroom. The bed was uncomfortable and of low quality, while there were stains on the walls. The exterior of the room, i.e. the outer side of the windows and their sills were very dirty too. Its worst feature, though, was the fact that it was right next to the breakfast room and the room's door did not have any soundproofing. Hence, every day, we were forced to wake up around 6.30-7am due to loud noises from the breakfast area which continued until 10-11am. I believe the management should provide a clear warning before giving these rooms to travellers.
On the bright side, breakfast had lots of options and all of them were fresh and delicious. The bathroom along with the supplied products and facilities (shampoos, hot water, towels etc.) was also fine. The location of the hotel is very convenient too, since the subway is very close (a few minutes walk), while one can also walk to the historical centre should they wish to do so (around 30mins walking distance).
