Surprisingly fun!
First time at a Citizen M hotel and it was surprisingly fun! At first the small size of the room made us wonder about our choice, but it was very comfortable, and the controls for the mood lighting etc. added a fun nuance. The staff made the stay exceptional. They were caring, friendly and attentive. Loved the artwork and the common area. Also had a blast exploring DTLA. Food and architecture and a bit of shopping.

This was an amazing stay. The room is small but the perfect size for a getaway. The room is automated with an IPad and the common areas are amazing!! Definitely upgrade to the breakfast which is an amazing buffet.

Very modern, clean and nice! I enjoyed my stay very much. The ipad did try to take over a few times with adjusting things in the room, but it was easily corrected. I walked everywhere, but the neighborhood was a little edgy.

Just OK
If you’re staying solo for a business trip or something similar, this is a great spot. But it’s not a place to stay for longer than a few nights. Rooms aren’t cleaned regularly and not all amenities are available like at a typical hotel. Overall, I’d stay here again in a pinch, but it would not be my first choice.
