Checking in wasn’t so good to be fair. We arrived at the car park to be asked by the person answering the intercom had we checked in online. I did receive an email a few days previous, however when I tried to check in on line I was told that the time had run out for me to check in. I was getting a little concerned as I had arranged for parking and the hotel last year. We eventually got checked in and our car was safely parked. The person checking me in appeared quite dismissive when I tried to explain about the online check in. When I approached reception a short while later to get a map, this same person was again quite abrupt in manner. I have never been to Wellington before so was quite disorientated, again this person appeared quite bored when I asked about our location and where things were. I observed this person with other clients during check in and their demeanour was completely different. If I did anything to offend I apologise, I must admit that it didn’t give me a very good first impression of your city.
