Highly recommend Christmas Store. Visit Chester Nimitz Gallery, Japanese garden, the Pacific War Museum and Dogologie. Ice cream Store and bakeries are wow. The Strudel. The Christmas tree lighting. Love how the city helps maintain Fort Martin Scott.

The town by itself is amazing! It has a great history, some good museums, wonderful restaurants, lots and great variety of shopping places, and if you like to drink, plenty of wineries! Kids friendly, which we really enjoyed it!

Definitely. A Christmas town and beautiful to see. And walk around. The best place for wine is everywhere around Fredericksburg. Whether you're walking around town and doing wine tastings, or in a car going from vineyard to vineyard.... Wine 🍷

If you have any interest in WW2, don't miss the Museum of the Pacific War and budget at least half a day to tour the Museum's interior. I tend to tour museums rather quickly but still spend 4.5 hours inside. That are also things to see outside.

I love going to Fredericksburg. Have been 3 times in the last 5 years. Love wine country and it is mostly an adult destination. I love kids but it's a good getaway for adults.

Peach Tree Inn & Suites
10/10 Excellent
"The place was quite nice and quiet. Our cabin was pretty spacious. It had a king size bed, couch, small table & chairs. The bathroom was separate and had a really nice big shower. We enjoyed the chairs out front on the cover porch. Each place has their own cover parking place but don’t bring an oversized vehicle.
Has a nice grass area for our furbabies. I highly recommend the Peach Tree to stay at."

"Our room was very nice and had a lovely balcony with a view of the pool. The pool was large and felt more like a resort property pool. There was a nice hot tub, a few kid friendly slides, a grotto area, and several fire pit areas. "
"We were on a first floor and didn't like the noise upstairs. They moved us to another room upstairs. We loved the coffee all day long. The pool and hot tub was amazing! Staff was so kind and accommodating."
"This was an amazing surprise. It was unique, clean, friendly. The room was stocked with so many awesome things. And the breakfast picnic basket in the mornings was fantastic. We would definitely recommend and stay again."
"Great location right off Main Street but away from the crowds. Food options were very limited for non-meat eaters. We would have loved to have dinner at the beautiful restaurant in the hotel but it was very meat-oriented. The rooms are basic but very nice, and designed almost Nordic-style (like Iceland). The hospitality was incredible! The staff were exceptionally friendly and are there to make your stay great. The iced coffee drinks at the "Pharmacy" were delicious! "
