I wanted to treat myself to a SPA day in the mountains with my family and I chose this 5 star hotel because of its SPA, pool and restaurant so we could have a relaxing day all in one place. The reception staff was very welcoming and smiley, however, the bar, pool area and restaurant are run by the same group of people and the service was really bad. I had to go from the pool area to the restaurant several times to ask for service because nobody was coming to serve or retrieve the plates, or take food and drinks orders, it felt like I had to beg for service. The restaurant in the evening was bad, my husband and son ordered a burger and it was so bad they couldn't finish it. They charged me 30 EURO for a glass of wine. It really seemed understaffed. Then during breakfast they kept pushing rudely to choose what we wanted to eat, the servers yelling at each other as if they were at a street fair. NOT at all what you expect at a 5 star Hotel. At night, the room was too hot and if we opened the window the smoke from the next rooms would come in from the lady next door smoking on her bed, They should not allow smoking inside teh rooms, they should add a sign or something.
It was a very disappointing experience. We paid a lot for mediocre service.
