What a lovely little place! The staff are 10/10 fantastic! Each and every one I had contact with, did a great, friendly, welcoming, smiley job! If I’m honest.. the decor could do with an update (old carpets with stains in the walking areas and bedroom) - other than that little nugget, I have already booked back in for the same occasion next year! Hotel was good value for money. Room was clean, bed was massive which was great. Bathroom was clean. Not a massive amount of choice for breakfast but it hit the spot. Some kind of sports event being attended by kids has lead me to give 4 stars, think they should have been together in one part of the hotel rather than spread about as being woken up by teenagers banging on doors at 3am in the morning is not ideal. I could stop at home for that experience. Also to note there isn’t much in the immediate vicinity such as bars/restaurants, only the actual hotel and a nearby pub chain, you should be prepared to travel if you want more choice
