This property reminds me of a mini Hearst Castle, with its Spanish tiles, pools, fountains, palm trees and sculptures. It has class. Rooms are large, quiet and luxurious with three types of window treatments to really black out the light. And, the drapes overlap so there is virtually no light coming through. Staff is extremely helpful at all times. Shout out to Wes and Barbara who do the history tour about the resort. Wonderful and very informative. Dan, the night security guard, helped me the last time I stayed at the resort when I needed a flat bed tow truck for my car, which had a flat tire. He checked on me periodically as I waited for the truck to make sure I was taken care of and he went above and beyond in that role. On my recent stay, Aimee, who is the event manager, stopped by and chatted while I was at the pool. The pool is open 24 hours, which is very nice and it's cool in the summer, not 110 degrees. The hot tub is at a perfect temperature. Cars are parked in covered parking out of the hot sun. I highly recommend registering for the mixology class at the bar. The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable about cocktails and make their own syrups from scratch. Some taking days to infuse. It's really fun to take their classes. I have been to other resorts in Arizona and this is by far my favorite. It exceeds all my expectations on every visit. Managers are attentive and go beyond. Scottsdale Fashion Square is 8 minutes away. Museums are about 20 minutes away.
