This is a lovely B&B situated in a great location for exploring Lisdoonvarna, and a short drive from Doolin. The property has been tastefully maintained, with lovely clean rooms and a bright airy living area which is available for guests to use. We met Kate on arrival who was really friendly and welcoming, and happily assisted us with our queries. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Lisdoonvarna for a break.

The wild honey hotel was our best stay in Ireland. It was unique with a truly wonderful handmade Michelin star breakfast. There are several restaurants within walking distance with gourmet foods. There is even a local pub >150 year old pub with a friendly and fun traditional Irish music session on Thursday nights. This was an easy drive to the Cliffs of Moher. My only regret is we did not spend more days here.

It is difficult to know how to start or end in giving the Wild Honey Inn its due. Kate is a superbly gracious host, ever at the ready with questions to better understand your interests, and then she is a trove of attuned recommendations for local sights. WHI itself is beautifully appointed; our room was lovely and comfortable in every way. Lastly, traveller, know that the breakfast WHI will be among the high points of your entire stay in Ireland. The (Michelin-starred) chef inverted the usual hierarchy of mealtimes, putting breakfasts most firmly on top during our 4 day - 3 night stay in Co Clare. We did not know when booking what a special place WHI is, and feel very lucky to have fallen into its charms.

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay at the Wild Honey Inn. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and chatting with the owners. Our only regret was that we had booked only one night instead of two. We hope to be back on our next trip to Ireland.

This place has charm. Kate was an absolutely lovely host. She gave me great recommendations on what to do in the area. Her Irish hospitality is unmatched. The room was unique and had character. The shower/tub was my favorite out of any of my other stays on this trip. So spacious. I would definitely stay at Wild Honey Inn again in the future.

A Gem of an Inn with an Incredible Breakfast !
The Wild Honey Inn was as sweet as its name implies! Kate and her staff are wonderful! Service is excellent and I felt so welcomed and taken care of. The daily breakfast menu is sophisticated, with divine flavors and textures. Thanks to Kate’s husband’s menu selection and extraordinary food. The breakfast area is beautiful and it overlooks a magnificent garden. My room was lovely and very comfortable. I loved being there. So much more to share, so instead , come and check it out! Thank you everyone for making my trip to Lisdoonvarna so memorable! Pat Kelley

Would love to visit agsin
Kate and her husband were very welcoming. We enjoyed chatting with them in their pub last night.
The building is a treasure. The floor boards!!! The fireplace in the pub and the front living room are so comfortable.
The back patio/garden is full of lovely plants.
Breakfast was wonderful with fruit, biscuits, croissants, and the yogurt with granola and berries was amazing.
The location is a short drive from the Cliffs of Moher. Nearby pub, The Roadside Pub, served fresh fish which we enjoyed.
The bed and room were very comfortable. Thanks so much.
Wish we could have stayed longer.

What a hidden gem! Kate and the staff were fantastic from the moment we arrived (past check-in time) to the moment we left. We, unfortunately, had no luggage as it was not put on our flight from Glasgow. Kate went out of her way to make us feel as comfortable as possible given the situation. We had to alter our original plans of hiking (due to lack of clothes/gear) and Kate spent a considerable amount of time giving us suggestions for an alternate plan. We took her recommendations and were able to enjoy many sights and delicious foods and a great ferry trip to our next destination. The breakfast at Wild Honey was Absolutely Divine!! One of the best breakfasts we had over our 13 day trip. Such a great experience and we will be returning! Thank you Kate!

The customer service was exceptional. This was part of a longer stay and it is very quaint. It is walkable to an area restaurant about half a mile away. If you have trouble with mobility, there are other places that are closer. The parking availability was challenging. The in itself is like a boutique stay. The room was quite comfortable. The shower was hard to figure out. And the hot and cold faucets are separate, very old-fashioned. The woman running the Inn is a sweetheart and clearly works incredibly hard. Breakfast was good and it’s a very pretty restaurant. I loved the stay because of the quaintness, but the Wi-Fi was very slow.

Very quaint and charming. Lots of antiques about. Comfy bed and skeleton keys. Close proximity to the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin and Lahench. About an hour drive to SNN airport or Galway. Although a continental breakfast is available to everyone, it appeared that some guests are not offered hot breakfast, which felt undignified. There are only 13 rooms approximately, and it seemed like the majority of guests were provided with a hot breakfast menu, and besides my husband and I, I only noticed one other couple not offered hot breakfast, equally confused as we were, and we were not offered the option to pay for hot breakfast or add it on with our Expedia booking.

Was surprised at the 4 star hotel rating. Yes its an old B&B but you have to carry your luggage up flights of stairs, no internet reception on top floor unless you go to the stairwell, water didn't get hot in the shower. Food was good but not what was in the photos.
