AWESOME PLACE TO STAY IN COOS BAY OREGON
This Red Lion in Coos Bay Ore has always and still is AWESOME. Very quiet even on highway. Close to down town, on the bay, Starbucks and Coos Bay Museum ( very nice ) across the street. Close to Mill Casino and Pancake Mill. I believe nicest hotel in Coos Bay.

The room 160 was recently remodeled but a few things would make it excellent. A comfortable chair by yhe window & side table, the clothes rack that staff said is going in, a taller toilet, and a better breakfast selection. The staff were very helpful.

Great Hotel - No complaints!
Great hotel for a stay in Coos Bay. Clean and in a great area between downtown Coos Bay and close to North Bend. Comfortable, friendly staff and no complaints here! One of the best, and more importantly, affordable hotels in town. Thank you Red Lion for still having reasonable prices and keeping up with maintenance and cleanliness! Exactly what we all need when staying at hotels.

Terrible Customer Service
The room was advertised as large enough to sleep 5 adults. I booked the room for me, my fiance, my 75 year old father, and my 13 year old daughter. We most assuredly needed 3 beds. There were two queen beds in the room and only two bath towels. No hideaway bed or anywhere else to sleep. Absolutely NOT enough sleeping room for 5 adults. I requested to speak with the manager twice and no one ever attempted to get back to me. I requested more towels, never received them. Front desk seemed annoyed that I was complaining about only two bath towels for 4 guests. It wasn't until I checked out that I was finally able to speak to the manager. She told me there was nothing she could do about what Hotels.com has listed on their site. Absolutely ZERO accountability and 100% lack of care. Trashy customer service.

Room was especially very nice and clean. Only problem was it was not cleaned on Sunday. Service in the lobby was excellent and grounds were nice and clean. I especially loved all the Halloween decorations. Every staff member we encountered was very courteous.

Staff was friendly and helpful with questions. Walking distance to dining option. If location had hot breakfast options i would rate 5 stars. While Coos Bay is not necessarily a resort town compared to Bandon, the Red Lion is a nice place to stay for families and pet friendly in this area of the coast. I would stay here any time.
