Our first time at an all inclusive resort as we normally travel here there and everywhere. So its never suitable for our plans. We picked this resort hotel to purposefully relax and slow down. The price of the swim up suite was the biggest draw it was a bargain. I read reviews about this place and the main ones were the food isnt great, its dated, and negative comments about staff. My experience was overall positive the resort is very beautiful all the staff members i interacted with (bar one)were happy to please welcoming. We were able to check in really early albeit in a non swim up room due to a fault but that was resolved the next day that was fine with us, they are making an effort to update the rooms the first one was more modern the swim up was more traditional looking. The food for us was the biggest let down theres a lot of food on offer for lunch breakfast and dinner but its not of great quality and very repetitive even though they do have themed nights its just one or two really different items on offer. My partner did have a few issues with Russian people pushing in line a few times and trying to move a fan that was in use by him and one occasion of putting cigarettes in a bottle and tossing it in the pool but thats not the hotels doing. The south american a la carte left a lot to be desired as a paid for extra. The rooms were clean and well soundproofed. The location is a short walk to the beach and shops restaura -s ect and easy pick ups for tours
