The hotel was in a lovely location down a private and secure gated driveway, and was a very quiet spot. The room was clean and the service, especially from the young lady in charge of the site, was very good. We had a problem with the safe on the first night that we were there (the previous occupants had locked it), but the problem was soon solved.
The range of items available for breakfast was somewhat limited, especially at the beginning of our stay (the site did not appear to be heavily occupied at that time), but things did improve a little as the week passed. That said, the range of options was limited to croissants, various cakes, some meusli and packets of biscuits, with some yoghurt on some days. Some days there were packets of preserves were available. Tea, coffee (of varying types) and fruit juice (between one and three flavours depending on the day) completed the offering. Some fruit, and bread and a toaster would have been appreciated, as would tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
As we had to leave early on our final morning the lady manager organised a packed breakfast for us (cake, biscuits and a packet drink), which was appreciated.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay in what appeared to be a relatively recently renovated property, and for which we would have given the highest recommendation if not for the less than excellent breakfasts and absence of tea and coffee making facilities.
