The rooftop bar plays music that can be heard even two floors below, and it usually goes on until around midnight. Our room was not properly prepared for three guests as booked, and the balcony wasn’t cleaned at all during our 4-night stay. For a short city trip, the hotel is fine and very well located, but don’t expect more than the basics.

Property was fairly clean, but overall disappointing. The surrounding area was a bit unsavoury. Staff and service were very hit or miss with some staff being amazing but the majority were poor. Food was mediocre in both restaurants and ordering ar best. Though bonavista was far superior. There was nearly no sound proofing at all, from outside noise, hotel neighbours or the roof.

The rooms are simple but very clean and comfortable for sleeping. The bed was great. Someone opened the door to my room early in the morning while I was asleep - the same happened to my friend. I think it was housekeeping. The communal areas are great for relaxing. We were disappointed by the rooftop pool area though, as there was absolutely no shade. We’d planned to spend the afternoon there but it was too intense to be in the sun for long.
